About Our Personal Trainers
Khalil Harrison
My name is Khalil Harrison. My passion for helping people began in 2013 when I first became a sports performance coach. In that time I have coached multiple high school sports teams, youth organizations, worked as a personal trainer and acquired my B.S. in Kinesiology from CUNY Lehman College in 2018. After acquiring my undergraduate degree I published a paper, began to focus more on personal training, with the focus of changing people's lives and transforming their bodies
In my personal fitness journey, I participated in national-level Olympic Weightlifting competitions for over eight years. To excel in this sport, one must sustain a specific body weight while preserving muscle mass. I have now transferred the techniques I employed as an athlete to assist my clients in their KHS body recomposition journey.
My dedication to personal training shifted when my wife and I welcomed our daughter, and my wife needed to lose weight post-cesarean section. Despite limited options, I employed extensive research and eventually my wife lost her postpartum weight, demonstrating remarkable results.
Making a positive difference in the lives of women, especially those who have experienced challenges during childbirth, is incredibly meaningful to me. It highlights the remarkable strength – both mental and physical – that women possess, showcasing the beauty of the human body.
Leveraging my extensive experience in strength training, background in nursing school, and numerous nursing clinical hours, I offer holistic personal training tailored for post-pregnancy clients. This approach considers the physical changes a woman's body undergoes during childbirth.
